The end is the beginning
This is a poem that, upon finishing an Indigenous Research Methods course at the University of Victoria, I began to feel not that I was on a new journey, but rather, that I had a deep knowing, a felt sense of belief, that I was already long on it. Thank you, Edōsdi, for your teachings. I also see it in the influence of my beautiful work with Tapestry Collective Co-op, where weaving, warp, and weft greatly influence our endeavours. Thank you, to my amazing team of humans for your teachings and ramblings in this journey.
Warp and weft weaves hands and heart
Practical, playful, personal, or political
Yarn that has reached its end
Has not disappeared
But transformed
